Afends x Doug Bennett

A year since our first collaboration with the artist, Doug Bennett, we’re taking it a step further with a capsule collection. We visited him in his home studio in Melbourne to catch up and talk all things collab.

Our creative director Dave and Doug met for some dinner and beers, spending the evening ranting about society; after a few, Doug proceeded to conceptualise the brainwave behind the artworks – in a technology-obsessed zombie society do we really understand the difference between reality and virtual reality?

True to our philosophy to ‘Question Everything’, Doug’s genuine expression of his perspective mixed with his artistic contribution in the new wave of Aussie music has shaped a unique style of artwork which is reflected throughout the capsule.
